Phalco Films, The Boil, LA, Summer, 2008.

So it was just another weekend here in sunny southern California. The tourist flooded the streets with confusion and excitement and the clear sky shined bright with the rays of a hell-like sunshine. I spent the afternoon sipping PBR's, tying up loose DJH producing ends and assisting Diz with the final DVD edit which will soon be en route to film festivals, friends, family and inspirations. It has sure been an exciting eighteen months out here on the west coast. The Roach and I have come a long way from our Moon, PA hay days and I'm pretty sure that the three year younger versions of ourselves would be proud to know where we have gone and what we have done.

Last night acted as a nice benchmark on where we are and what has happened since our arrival back in early 2007. The sights and sounds of a ridiculously insane Wolf Parade entertained the starry-eyed foursome of myself, Mike Roach, Dylan Stern and Jeremy Tague and the future of Phalco was seen.  Making films with these guys is one thing.  But making entertainment that has the potential to change the world is what we are going to do.  The summer of 2008 is the start of a whole in era.   An era that welcomes new faces, new visions and an blog that puts the sex back into sexy.

Welcome to The Boil, the official blog of Phalco Films.
